The Grove Fields Residents Association is holding a Quiz & Auction on Friday 1st December (Doors 7.30pm for an 8pm start – finishing 11.30pm) and would be delighted to see you there to support this event.
The main objective of the evening is to raise funds to meet the costs of engaging professional planning consultants to respond to the Dacorum consultation document regarding the proposed housing development in Tring, specifically to the east of Tring (including Grove Fields). This is critical to ensure local residents play a key role in shaping future development proposals.
The second objective is to have some fun and social interaction between members of the GFRA members and their guests - it promises to be a great night.
The evening will take the form of a brief update from Graham Bright on current progress followed by a Quiz and an Auction (which will be run by John Bly (http://johnbly.com/) from the Antiques Roadshow!) with some really impressive lots (top item at the moment is a week in a Greek Villa). There will also be a hot meal served in the interval (will be a Chilli including a vegetarian option). The evening will be held in the clubhouse of Tring Athletic Football Club (Cow Lane) which has a fully stocked bar at reasonable prices.
Ticket Information - Entry will be by advance ticket only as numbers are limited to 100. These are priced at £10 each (which includes the hot food). Tickets can be purchased by two methods:
